The Miami Heat recorded 86 opening half points against the Memphis Grizzlies

Miami Heat claimed a decisive 146-114 win over the Grizzlies in their initial NBA game after player Rozier was arrested for suspected illegal gambling.

Portland Trail Blazers coach Billups was also detained in connection with a broad federal probe into illegal gambling. The two individuals deny the allegations.

NBA Commissioner Silver 'Disturbed' by Recent Events

Speaking about the detentions for the first time, NBA commissioner Adam Silver stated he was "very upset" by the events of the past few days.

"Moreover 30 months later, he has not been found guilty of anything, in justice to Terry.

"Clearly, it appears unfavorable, but he's been put on administrative leave, and so it is a balance here between protecting people's rights and investigating."
