In a new development, a Los Angeles superior court judge agreed to prevent the release of the Reiners' autopsy reports, after an appeal from the Los Angeles Police Department.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the result of foul play, with a record noting the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".
